Itinerary in detail

Day 1: Saigon Arrival

On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon City tour

Visiting wartime American Embassy on the way to the Reunification Palace and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Afterward visiting History Museum and the Jade Emperor Pagoda, War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market  and Binh Tay Market in China Town. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Flight from Saigon to Pleiku - Pleime Base

Boarding a short flight to Pleiku  - the most strategically important position during the war. Drive on highway No 14 to visit Ham Rong Pass and Camp Enari - the former headquarter of the 4th Infantry Division then the Cacteka plantation, Pleime, and Ban Can - former operational areas of the 4th Division. Overnight in Pleiku town.

Day 4: Pleiku - Kontum - Dakto

Travel by roads to Komtum passing the rough mountainous area which was once battlefield between the NVA units and the 4th Division along the Ho Chi Minh City and Sihanouk trails. Exploring areas of Dakto including the former airbase and the Chalie hill. Visiting old wooden church. Overnight in Dakto town.

Day 5: Pleiku - An Khe - Quy Nhon

Depart Pleiku for Quy Nhon Town  - a supply depot of the first Log Command, cross over the Mang Yang Pass before traversing An Khe, a major military area where you could find the First Air Cavalry Division among other units. Heading north to the petroleum farm, the ammunition dump and the strategic Bong Son Area, passing by Phu Cat Airbase. Overnight in Quy Nhon.

Day 6: Quy Nhon - Nha Trang

Going along the central coast though Tuy Hoa rice bowl towards Nha Trang. On arrival we enjoy seeing the Long Son Pagoda and the impressive Ponagar Cham Towers. At leisure in the afternoon. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 7: Nha Trang flight to Saigon

In the morning at leisure and in afternoon transfer to airport for a short flight to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 8: Saigon Departure

At leisure till transfer to the airport for flight back home. End of the tour.
