(KPL) Mekong Riverside Park has achieved over 60 per cent of its construction so far, according to its project manager Mr. Khamfong Syhavong.
The park on 2,100 sqm is on Mekong River bank and next to the provincial administration office. The private investment of 399 million kip is expected to open to public at mid April.
The park will be among interesting relaxing places of the province to attract lager number of tourist arrivals domestically and internally, said last week Mr Khamfong. “We also equip the park with places for exhibiting traditional handicrafts and products,”
One of the most interesting tourist sites Khong district attracted over 71,000 both domestic and foreign tourists, up by over 14,000.
