Tan Trao Historical site
Tan Trao is a small valley lying between mountains and jungles in Son Duong Dist 40km from Tuyen Quang Town and 200km from Ha Noi. It was used as a resistance base before the August 1945 Revolution. It is also where the Indochina Communist Party first carried out the National Congress. At the National Assembly held on August 1945 in Tan Trao "the great policies of Viet Minh were drawn and a temporary government lead by Ho Chi Minh was elected".

Tan Trao Communal House
This is a small communal house in Tan Lap village dedicated to the mountain and river Deities. Tan Trao communal house was belt in 1923, according to the style of stilt houses with wooden pillars. It consists of three chambers ands two lean-tos, a fan-palm leaf covered roof and a wood board paved floor.

Tan Trao Banyan Tree
Under this secular tree, about 100m from Tan Trao Communal house, Viet Nam liberation troops organized the marching ceremony, which was graced by the TanTrao people and 60 representatives of the National Assembly. General Vo Nguyen Giap read the military order document No1 and the troops marched through Thai Nguyen to liberate Ha Noi.
