Day 1: Arrival –Vientiane (--/--/D)

Laos-stupaArriving at Wattay Airport or Friendship Bridge, you are met and transferred to hotel. Visiting Wat Sisaket, Haw Prakeo - former royal temple of Laos monarchy which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Statue, on the way visiting the Patuxay Monument - Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph and the famous That Luang Stupa. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2: Vientiane - Vang Vieng (B/L/D)

Departing northwards through the spectacular countryside towards the mountain region. Visiting colorful market of Thalat on the way. Stopping in Vang Xang - a famous archeological site dating back 11th century. Arriving Vang Vieng - nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Over night in Vang Vieng. 

Day 3: Vang Vieng – Luang Prabang (B/L/D)

Sample ImageHeading to the caveof Tham Jang and crossing the river to Ban Huai Ngai - a very pleasant village where we can explore the different local lifestyle. We wind our way through Kasi and Phoukhoune to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang. 

Day 4: Luang Prabang City Tour (B/L/D)

Visiting the former Royal Palace has been turned into a National Museum, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, the city's oldest temple of Wat Sene and the Wat Mai. Climbing 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a sunset view of the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.  

Day 5: Luang Prabang - Pakou Caves (B/L/D)

Boarding a cruise upstream on the Mekong River to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crowded with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. Along the way, we stop at Ban Xang Hai to visit the rice wine distillation. We drive to the famous weaving village of Ban Phanom. Overnight in Luang Prabang.  

Day 6: Luang Prabang Departure (B/--/--)

At leisure till transferring to the airport for the flight departing Laos. End of the tour.
