Itinerary: Luang Prabang - Nam Khan River Kayaking (3 days)

Trip Note

• - All above itinerary is flexible, depending on arrival or departure flights of passenger
• - Ground operator reserved the right to amend or adjust itinerary to match with real situation
• - First aid kid with mosquito repellent is required, especially raining season.
• - Food and drink needed to provide enough for the day trek and trekking will be on paddy field and forest path
• - Biking is for more than 3hrs, boat will be provided either long tail motor boat or traditional boat.
• - It is good to due this program in raining season since Tad Sae waterfall and Nam Kan River will be higher water to sail August – November.

Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival (--/--/--)

Arrive in Luang Prabang airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel. After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple.

We then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River, from there, we experience the Street Night Market where you can found the traditional textile collection, gift away and souvenirs. Day 2: Luang Prabang – River Kayaking (B/--/--)

Breakfast, we begin our full day tour by taking a local transportation as Tuk Tuk, we spend approx 45 minutes to the site of kayaking area on Ban En, a village of low land Laos, there, the kayaking starting point, we enjoy down stream on Nam Khan River, kayaking past the base of stunning karsts Mountain through various small, but exciting fun rapids, en route stop to visit Tad Sea where the biggest beautiful cascaded in the forest with a cool natural swimming pool.

The picnic lunch ready for you on a Sala terrace, where you can view over the pool. After enjoying your lunch, then it is a good chance to visit the French explorer Henri Mouhot’s Tomb, who stem bled across Angkho Wat in 1860, but succumbed to a malarial attack in Luang Prabang on 10th November in following year. We are returning to Luang Prabang by our kayaking route and make an overland at Ban Phanom, the best well-known of weaving village of Tai Lue who used to make royal silk weaving textiles to Lao former royal family. We then do kayaking back to Luang Prabang by late evening., strolling around and enjoying a short guided tour in a small dream-like city of Luang Prabang by sunset. Over night in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang Departure (B/--/--)

Breakfast, we visit The National Museum at the Former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. As our city exploring is on, we continue visiting the local market at Phosi Market, where can be found the topical local foods of Luang Prabang displace. Transfer to airport for departure flight. End of the tour.
