Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival Upon arrival at the airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Visiting the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple.
We then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. we experience the Street Night Market where you can found the traditional textile collection, gift away and souvenirs. Day 2: Luang Prabang – Tad Sea Breakfast, as we set our full day biking tour, journey out toward the 13th highway south of Luang Prabang route. Our biking route will spend approximately 18KM on a good pave road and 01KM on a rugged road to Ban An, just before Tad Sea, Upon arrival, we take a small long trail motorboat down stream on Nam Khan River, passing the base of stunning karsts Mountain through various small villages, but exciting fun rapids, en route stop to visit Tad Sea where the biggest beautiful cascaded in the forest with a cool natural swimming pool, you may splash refreshment with a cool and white water spring in a big pool. The picnic lunch ready for you on a Sala terrace, where you can view over the pool. After enjoying your lunch, then we continue our boat trip down stream to a retrace site of the French explorer Henri Mouhot’s Tomb, who stem bled across Angkor Wat in 1860, but succumbed to a malarial attack in Luang Prabang on 10th November in following year. We are returning to Luang Prabang by our difference biking route as your bicycle has been brought along with provided our transportation and advance awaiting you at local boat pier, just near by Ban Phanom, we overland and ride to visit the best well-known of weaving village of Tai Lue who used to make royal silk weaving textiles to Lao former royal family. You may also purchase a simple of your silk-worm or 100% cotton textile items for local community. We then ride to Luang Prabang by late evening. and enjoying a short biking guided tour in a small dream-like city of Luang Prabang by sunset. Over night in Luang Prabang. Day 3: Luang Prabang – Biking to Pak Ou Caves Breakfast, we are heading out to Luang Prabang on a good pave road approximately 22KM and on a rugged road 3KM, we are reaching at the village of Ban Pak Ou. After enjoying your picnic lunch, we cross Mekong River to Pak Ou and Tham Ting Caves, just located on the Mekong river bank, where also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. We then embark on a Mekong River traditional boat down stream, which your bicycle can be brought along with. On the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine and next stop will be at Wat Long Khoune, a royal family temple patronage, Sakkarine Caves and Ban Xieng Mene, a pottery kiln village. Cross Mekong and overland at local boat pier. Overnight in Luang Prabang. Day 4: Luang Prabang Departure Visiting The National Museum at the Former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. End of the tour. |
